Set in the rural countryside this lovely Spanish home plus income is 8km south of a village of Sedella. Sedella is a very small Spanish village nestled in the surroundings of Mount Maroma. The larger village of Canillas de Aceituna is approximately 10km from the house (only 2km from Sedella). There are primary schools in both villages. The closest town is the historic town of Velez Malaga which is 25 minutes south of the house. There are schools, supermarkets, shops, bars and amazing restaurants here. Torre del Mar is 30minutes from the house and the closest coastal town with some beautiful beaches. Malaga airport is a 45minute drive from the house. The beautiful Lake Vinuela is 20 minutes by car, amazing for kayaking, sailing, walking and picnics. The village of Puente don Manual is close to the Lake and has shops and restaurants, many expats live here.

The actual area is called Los Valverdes and is in a valley surrounded by olive and almond trees, there is an unoccupied house about 100meters away and then the closest neighbour is about 200 m away. The house is the most elevated and therefore not overlooked by any other property and completely private.
There is a long driveway (dirt track) leading to the house and 7 acres of land which contain the 2 yurts, a Casita and many almond and olive trees. Also there is a lemon tree and pomegranate trees in the garden. There is a large stone built shed on one side of the house and a bigger one of the other side (which we are using as a dog kennel!) There is a storage room outside with a large fridge and washing machine, this is next to a BBQ.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs, one of which is en suite and one larger upstairs with 2 sets of double doors opening out for stunning views of the mountains! Both bathrooms have a shower (no bath, these are rare in Spain), a bidet and toilet. There is a reception room and a lounge with log burning fire. A small country kitchen which is run on gas.

Outside the front door there is a covered terrace, ideal for a large dining table and in front of that a pebbled area (our beach) which is perfect for relaxing in a deck chair and reading a book! There is a large kidney shaped pool and a larger walk in pool house on a lower level. The pool is fitted with the equipment to be able to be run as chlorine or salt water, this is very unusual in the area. There is a patio on the other side of the pool with a huge Jacaranda tree and a fruit tree. A small path leads you to the almost football sized pitch  enclosure for the dogs. There is a gate and inside a small concreted area beside the shed which we have made into the dog kennel. Its on a slope and contains 2 huge trees which are great shade. At the top of the enclosure there is another gate leading into another smaller area. This has a little shelter and is like a small kennel with run. Beside the shelter is another gate leading to our covered water deposit meaning even if the water gets cut off we don’t run out!

From the dog enclosure you can walk up the track about 200 m and there you will find the two Yurts, one sleeps up to 3 people and the other one sleeps 2. They have the casita between them with the shower, kitchen and bathroom, There is also an area with the sun loungers and Jacuzzi which fits about 6 people. There is also a small stone shed for storage. There is plenty of space if the buyer wanted to purchase more yurts in the future. A lovely Spanish home plus income with potential to grow the business.

This is our 3rd year welcoming guests to the Yurts and we have guests 12 months of the year from all over the world. It really has been amazing to live in this house with an opportunity to have an income without having to leave the house! Its an ideal property for a retired couple who would like an extra income or for a young family who want to live the dream in Spain but unsure of how they will make money.

We had the dog enclosure made with the intention of starting a dog boarding kennel. There is a huge need for one in the area.
